This is an interesting claim however it is not the case and clear evidence contradicts the claim.

This is one of the most questioined things that are asked.
We know, in fact, that water does stay on the "ball" and here's why.  Gravity, which is larger mass attracting smaller mass, is a fundament force.  In fact it is on of the most well understood forces of any known force.  This is what holds water to the earth, much like it holds other things like your car, YOU and everything else around you.

Air, much like water, has mass.  Therefore it is drawn to the planet by gravity and it exists in a gradient.  Most dense at the earth's surface graduation to a very thin layer as you move away from the earth.  If you consider mountains, the air is much thinner at the top than it is at the bottom.

Hard to believe but yes, flat earthers will claim just this.

The main "Proof" they cite is from a fictitonal movie about Stanley Kubick.  Unfortunately for them it was, in fact, the only fake movie here.  We have a multitude of reasons to never doubt the moon landing, including factors such as many thousands for film photos, film videos, advanced retro-reflector arrays that we can still interact with today.  There were some 600-800 pounds of lunar rocks brought back to earth.  There are visible evidence taken by orbiters.  Russia and China have acknowled the activity and have even collaborated on many accounts with the space program and ISS program.
